The curriculum at FreshSteps is a broad and varied one. We offer an adapted curriculum suited to the needs of our pupils and which enables them to excel and progress to the best of their ability. We see each pupil as an individual and therefore teaching staff are trained to ensure that their teaching styles accommodate all learners and that classwork is differentiated where possible.
FreshSteps offers exams in Functional Skills English, Maths, Science, ICT, Design & Technology and PSHE. These qualifications are equivalent up to GCSE grade 5.
For our pupils who are showing exceptional progress and attitude to learning, we are able to offer GCSEs in the core subjects.
In the Primary Phase, pupils are tested on their phonics, reading comprehension, writing and maths.

FreshSteps lessons are always hands-on and interactive, ensuring that every child feels included and can access the curriculum in a way that works for them.
Our PE curriculum is broad including horse-riding, boxing and multi-sports both with the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and on-site in our school sports arena.
In addition to our curriculum subjects FreshSteps offers a range of learning interventions and therapies.
